LingoPlay
Privacy policy
iOS uses screen broadcast to pass playback audio from other apps to LingoPlay. The app processes audio only and does not read or save screen content.
What LingoPlay collects
LingoPlay does not require an account and contains no advertising, tracking, or behavioral analytics. Bublee does not receive audio, screen images, captions, translations, or device identifiers from the app.
Playback audio and screen broadcast
LingoPlay uses the iOS screen broadcast interface only to receive audio playing in another app. The broadcast extension ignores video frames and microphone audio. It does not save or upload a screen recording. Protected or unsupported content may provide no audio.
On-device processing
Speech recognition and translation use Apple system frameworks on your device. Audio packets pass temporarily through the shared app container, are excluded from backups, and are removed as they are processed or when the session ends. Captions and translations remain in memory for the current session and are not stored in a Bublee cloud service. Apple may download language models and operates its system services under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Local records and retention
Language choices, display preferences, review-prompt history, and the usage allowance record are stored locally. The allowance record is also kept in the iOS Keychain to preserve the limit across reinstalls. Other app-container data is removed by iOS when you delete the app; Keychain data may remain until it is replaced or removed by the system. LingoPlay has no server account or cloud profile to delete.
Permissions and your choices
You can deny or revoke speech recognition permission in iOS Settings and stop screen broadcast at any time. Without the required permission and active broadcast, live captions cannot work. Contact hello@bubleeai.com with privacy questions.
Changes
If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the in-app disclosure will be updated before the new processing is introduced. Effective 27 October 2026.
